What are the factors affecting the pollination and fruit setting rate of fragrant pear? Artificial assisted pollination instructions for fragrant pear! The fruit setting rate of fragrant pear is not only influenced by weather, but also by pollen quality, pollen preservation, pollen dosage, pollination time and pollination method.
1. Pollination time directly affects fruit setting rate
As far as a flower is concerned, the highest percentage of pollinated fruits can be reached within 1-3 days after flowering, and the percentage of pollinated fruits is about 50% on the 4TH-5TH day. The percentage of pollinated fruits is below 30% on the 6th day, which has lost its use value.
2. Pollen dosage directly affects yield and fruit quality
The results showed that when 300 pollens fell from five stigmas of a flower, the young fruit cells divided most and the young fruit was large. Although only 10 pollen grains fall into the stigma and fertilize into the ovary to form seeds, hormones produced by pollen grains that enter the style but do not reach the ovary stimulate cell division in young fruits. Therefore, the more pollen grains fall on the stigma of pear, the more likely the fruit will grow into large fruit. However, with the decrease of pollen grains, young fruits become smaller and poorly pollinated and fertilized, which not only affects fruit size, but also often increases the number of distorted fruits. Increasing the amount of pollen can not only increase the yield, but also improve the quality and commodity value of fruits.
3. On Pollination Weather
According to the weather conditions of flowering season, fruit growers depend on their previous pollination experience and years of orchard management.
Reference Suggestions: 1. Under normal flowering weather, pear orchard flowers blossom to about 30% pollination, the best amount of pollen per mu is about 20 grams, according to their own orchard planting situation.
2. In the case of abnormal flowering weather, we should flexibly grasp the pollination time according to the specific weather conditions, and increase the amount of pollen on the basis of the original amount of pollen, and increase the number of pollination about 3-4 times.
Special weather conditions, special treatment: during the pollination period, in the case of high temperature at noon and continuous weather, the best time to choose is not to pollinate in the afternoon, and when the flowers blossom from afternoon to evening, after the rise of night temperature and dew, the water and nutrients on the stigma of pear are sufficient, and then pollination is taken the next morning. At this time, the pollination effect is the best.
IV. ON POLLINATION TEMPERATURE
The pollen of fragrant pear hardly germinates when the temperature is below 10 degrees. The pollen tube elongation is poor at 10-12 degrees. After pollination at 15-18 degrees, the pollen tube almost completely invades the stigma within 3 hours under normal weather conditions, and begins to fertilize after 24 hours. 15-25 degrees is the optimum temperature for pollen germination and fertilization. Therefore, during pollination, 18-25 degree pollination is the best choice, if weather permits.
