Stay strong inflorescence, sparse inflorescence! Inflorescence Management and Pollination Techniques of Pear Trees at Flowering Stage!
First, flower thinning
1. flower order
The sparse inflorescence should be carried out after the inflorescence is exposed, and should be completed before the flower globules. The top inflorescence, axillary bud and weak inflorescence were thinned first, and then one inflorescence was left every 25-35 cm according to the fruit retention of each variety. Large fruits are thinner, medium fruits are more dense.
In principle, strong inflorescence, weak inflorescence, oblique dorsal inflorescence of fruiting branches, sparse dorsal and dorsal inflorescence, inflorescence that is not easy to occur in the position of branch grinding and leaf sweeping, sparse branches and inflorescence that is too close to the branch trunk.
2. scattered flowers
Flowers should be thinned in time after inflorescence separation. Most of the central flowers should be thinned, leaving 2-3 flowers in each inflorescence. It's best to finish it before the first flower and at the latest when it's in full bloom.
Two. Pollination
1. Collect flowers
It is better to collect flowers from varieties with large amount of pollen and early flowering, and can collect flowers from multiple varieties. Botou area is generally collected from crisp pear, autumn pear, crisp pear and Huangguan pear. The pollination rate of balloon and early flowering buds is high.
2. take anther.
After collecting flowers, rub off the anthers with a sieve in time and spread them in the shade. Don't pile it up for long.
3. Pollen Production and Preservation
In a closed room, the indoor electric furnace or coal stove is kept at 25 - 28 C and the maximum temperature is not more than 30 C. Chimneys must be installed in coal stoves to prevent pear pollen from being smoked. Spread a layer of newspaper on the table, scatter the pollen without impurities dumped with a dustpan on the table thin and thin, and turn it in time. Pollen can generally be released day and night, and then take out the pollen with a fine sieve. The screened anther shell is spread on the platform until the pollen is completely released and the pollen is taken again.
Pollen should be kept in dry, airtight and low temperature conditions. Short-term storage can dry and seal pollen and put it in refrigerator or shade. If long-term storage is needed, dry and sealed pollen should be stored at low temperature of - 20 C - 0 C.
4. Manual instruction
When pollen is mixed with 2-5 times neutral talc or fine starch, the amount of pollen is large or less, and the amount of pollen is small, more additives should be added appropriately. The pollen is put into a small vase at the time of light pollination. The pollinator is made of brush, newspaper paper twist, cotton swab, cigarette filter, etc. After dipping in pollen, one of 2-3 flowers per inflorescence is given, and 20-30 flowers can be given after dipping in pollen.
The pollen should be given once a day from the beginning of flowering to the full flowering period within 2-3 days. The pollen used up on that day should be stored at low temperature. Pollination was best from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
